Beyem Adhe-P

Powdered mixed binder adhesive for tiling on traditional fresh mortar.

BEYEM ADHE-P is a powdered polymer-modified adhesive formulated with cement, selected aggregates, special additives and synthetic resins  to improve workability, water retentivity, and adhesion of mortar. Especially suitable for fixing tiles on traditional fresh mortar.

  • Saving materials and workforce.
  • High mechanical  strength.
  • Easy application by dusting over fresh  resistant mortar.
  • Easy  and quick application.
  • Excellent initial tensile adhesion strength.
  • Ideal for fixing porcelain tiles.

Fixing stoneware, marble, porcelain, terrazzo, etc. with or without absorption, in small or large formats by dusting or in liquid form. Indoor and outdoor floors traditional fresh mortar.

BEYEM ADHE-P is suitable for:

  • Traditional fresh mortar.
  • Fresh thick layer screeds floors.

The floor mortar must be wet for the application of BEYEM ADHE-P. Check the smoothness of the substrate with a 2 m long ruler; any differences must be less than 5 mm. In exterior floors, the inclination angle of substrate must be equivalent to (or more) than 1% to allow water to be removed. Do not use where there is a risk of water stagnation.

Application by dusting (in powder form): For tiles up to 900 cm2 and with a little relief on reverse. Apply by dusting an even layer of 1 to 2 mm of BEYEM ADHE-P (approx. 1,7 kg/m2) directly on to the fresh mortar without any excess or overlooked parts. The substrate must be completely covered.  Wet the product with water before fixing the tiles. Its adhesion can  only be guaranteed when it is sufficiently moistness. The applied layer can be levelled using a trowel.

Application in fluid form:  For large formats tiles and tiles with a deep relief on reverse. Mix manually of mechanically BEYEM ADHE-P with clean water until a homogeneous, creamy and lump-free paste  is obtained (up to 10,0 litres per bag). Let the mix stand for 1 minutes and mix again.  Apply the product with a notched trowel both onto the substrate and the reverse of tiles. Press the tiles onto the substrate, moving them from side to side when the product has a plastic consistency  to ensure a correct adhesion.

  • On gypsum substrates, apply BEYEM FIJADOR primer before , to avoid contact between gypsum and the cement of the adhesive, avoiding adverse reactions.
  • Do not apply on plastic, metal or wood.
  • Do not apply below 5ºC or above 30ºC.
  • Do not apply when there is  risk of frost, rain, strong wind or direct sunlight.
  • Leave joints between tiles with a minimum width of 2 mm. Grout with  BEYEM JUNTA UNIVERSAL / BEYEM JUNTA EXTRAFINA.
  • On floors  with a surface area greater than 30 m2 , it is recommended to leave separation or sealing joints filled with a deformable material.
  • It is necessary to press firmly the tiles onto the substrate to ensure a good adhesion.
  • On interior floorings larger than 15 m2, it is advisable to keep a free perimeter expansion joint between the floor and the wall or pillar, hidden by a skirting board (of approximately 5 mm).
  • For fixing fiber mesh  reinforced tiles, contact Technical Support.
  • The temperature, ventilation, and absorption of the substrate and covering materials , may vary the adhesive workability and setting times.
