Beyem Unión-M

Single-component bonding composed of synthetic resins, siliceous mineral charges and organic and inorganic additives. Specially formulated as a bridge for the adherence primer for mortars on smooth and/or non-absorbing supports.

Adhesion primer for applying cement and/or lime mortars on smooth surfaces (concrete form) or without surface absorption, both indoors and outdoors. Suitable for floors and coatings. Absorption equalizer for subsequent applications.

The useful supports for the application of BEYEM UNION-M are:

• Smooth concrete floors and concrete poured on site.
• Formwork.
• Floors with waste, floors based on ceramic coatings, artificial and natural stones, etc…
• Conventional cement-based supports.
• Coatings.
• Restoration supports.

The above-mentioned supports must be healthy, clean, free of paint remains, badly adhered parts or substances that may make adherence difficult such as dust, dirt, etc… All removable parts must be removed. Surface treatments such as waxes, oils and release agents must be removed. The support must have carried out the hygrometric drying retraction and must not present humidity. In case of doubt,  measure the residual humidity with a carbide hygrometer.

Shake the container before use to homogenize the product and avoid sedimentation.

Mix 2 volumes of BEYEM UNION-M with up to 1 volume of water using a mechanical agitator at low revolutions (500 r.p.m) Spread the product with a roller or brush. Apply the coating or finishing product once the product has dried (from 1 to 24 hours, depending on the weather conditions, support, etc…)

• For applications on supports not indicated, consult the Technical Department.
• Do not use on supports with strong dimensional movements.
• Do not overlap excessively heavy walls in vertical applications.
• Do not apply high thicknesses of product. Check retention and avoid film formation.
• If the BEYEM UNION-M film is damaged, it is necessary to apply the product later.
• Once the maximum useful time for superimposing the product has passed, 72 hours, it is essential to
• make a new application of BEYEM UNIÓN-M directly on the previous one.
• Do not apply below 5ºC or above 30ºC.
• Do not apply on wet or plaster supports.

BEYEM UNION-M is packaged in 15 kg plastic drums. Conservation: 12 months in original closed container, away from humidity and in covered places.

Tools and fixtures are easily cleaned with water before the product has hardened. Cured, hardened or dry product can only be removed by mechanical means.

The conditioning of non-absorbent and/or smooth supports before the application of coating mortars and other finishing mortars will be carried out with the single component bonding primer based on synthetic resins Beyem Union-M, from the company Rodacal Beyem. The performance will be of ≈ 0,33 Kg/m2. The support must be clean, free of friable parts and free of humidity.
