BEYEM 1,2,3 is a ultra-fast setting mortar formulated with hydraulic binders and selected aggregates. Especially suitable for non structural anchoring, fixing and little repairs. For plugging leaks and seal joints to resist inflow of water.
- Set in 5 minutes.
- Free of chlorides.
- Easy to apply.
- High early mechanical strength.
- Waterproof.
- Excellent bond strength.
- Non-shrink mortar.
- For interior and exterior use.
- High final mechanical strengths.
Non structural anchoring and immediate embedings. Stopping of running water and seepage through cracks and holes in masonry, walls, dams, wells, tanks, wall and floor junctions etc. It can also be used as a
grout around pipes and conduits and as a rapid anchoring product of masonry elements, toilets, baseboards… or as a rapid-set filler. Masonry brickwork in walls and fine partitions. Cavity filling. Molding of holes and edges of windows and doors. For interior and exterior use.
BEYEM 1,2,3 is suitable for:
- Concrete and concrete blocks.
- Brickwork. Ceramic bricks.
- Cement based substrates
Substrates must be clean, compact and free of substances that reduce adhesion such as dust, oil, paint, grease and with no loose material. Substrates must have already completed the curing period of hygrometric shrinkage. Dampen substrates with water to cool down if they should be too warm, in case of wind or over absorbent substrates and wait until the thin layer of water disappears. Do not use on gypsum based plasters or paint.
Mix manually of mechanically BEYEM 1,2,3 with 5,5-6,0 l per bag of clean water until a homogeneous, creamy and lump-free paste is obtained. Apply immediately the product using a trowel, filling the cavity in case of an anchorage. Beyem 1,2,3 starts to harden in 2/4 minutes and finishes in 5/6 minutes. Mix only sufficient material that can be applied using available labour and equipment taking into account the pot life of product.
- Anchors must be made verifying the depth and width with respect to the diameter of the anchorage.
- Do not apply below 5ºC or above 30ºC.
- Do not apply when there is risk of frost, rain, strong wind or direct sunlight.
- Do not re-mix product residues that have started to harden, because that causes a decrease in the properties of the mortar.
- Protect the mortar surface of early dehydration, using suitable curing methods to obtain a perfect setting.
- It is possible to delay initial setting time of mortar using setting retarders (contact Technical Support).
- It is recommended to mix small amounts of BEYEM 1,2,3
- Always mix with the specified amount of water.
- Do not use BEYEM 1,2,3 for concrete repair nor machinery anchors.
- Do not add more water than recommended amount, because that may cause a decrease in the mechanical properties of mortar and a delay in its setting time.
- Setting time of mortar increases with low temperatures.
